The Field Applications Specialist Flow Cytometry Germany South-West (d/f/m) is responsible for the application support of our customers in the South-Western German area.
This position is part of the Flow Cyotmetry Field Applications Team DACH and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing competent advice and support to existing and potential customers on flow cytometry applications, analyzers, reagents and software in clinical research and routine diagnostics.
- Independently carry out device and reagent presentations, workflow analyzes and instructions on analysis systems and support our sales representatives with your specialist knowledge in realizing our sales targets.
- Supporting customers and service colleagues with the implementation of new applications and troubleshooting.
- Representing Beckman Coulter at trade shows, scientific meetings, and workshops.
The required qualifications for the job include:
- University degree in biology/biotechnology/medicine/chemistry/physics or training in a similar field.
- Multiple years of practical experience with multi-color flow cytometry, sample preparation and data analysis.
- Experience in the field of immunology and/or hematology is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel approximately 50–75% within the territory
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
