How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Data Programme Manager (Insurance)
    Location: London (Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite)

    Inside IR35 3 month rolling contract

    Overview

    We're looking for an experienced Data Programme Manager to lead a strategic data transformation programme within the insurance sector, focused on speciality lines.
    This is a senior, business-facing role requiring someone who can combine strong delivery leadership with strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and technical understanding across modern Azure data platforms.
    The successful candidate will help shape the data roadmap, drive governance, and lead transformation initiatives across pricing, policy, and claims data environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead strategic data transformation initiatives across speciality lines insurance
    Define and drive data roadmaps, governance, and delivery approach
    Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders, providing clear strategic direction
    Translate complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes and executive-level communications
    Oversee programme governance, reporting, risk management, and delivery oversight
    Support solution alignment across Azure data platforms and engineering teams
    Work closely with architecture, engineering, and business teams to ensure successful delivery
    Drive adoption of modern data engineering practices, including DevOps and CI/CD
    Support operating model and capability improvements across the wider programmeStrong understanding of:

    Azure Data Factory (ADF)
    Azure Databricks
    SQL/Data Warehousing
    Modern Data Architecture patterns
    DevOps & CI/CD delivery practices
    What We're Looking For
    Proven experience leading enterprise-scale data transformation programmes
    Background in Data Programme Management, Data Transformation, or Consulting-led delivery
    Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
    Experience building roadmaps, governance structures, and strategic artefacts
    Strong understanding of modern Azure data platforms
    Experience operating within Agile delivery environments
    Ability to bridge business, technology, and delivery functions effectivelyDomain Experience
