Hydraulic Modeller- London

Are you a Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to join a supportive team of Engineers, based in London?

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in flood risk, hydrology or civil engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in London and have a keen interest in climate change, flood alleviation, flood risk modelling and drainage engineering.

Responsibilities

Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments, nutrient neutrality assessments and drainage strategies.
Flood alleviation schemes.  
Hydrological assessments.
Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.
Flood risk mapping and flood estimation.
Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.This role offers a competitive salary, benefits package, a fast-paced working environment and hybrid working from London.   Alternative locations available.
