How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

AMS is a global workforce solutions partner committed to creating inclusive, dynamic, and future-ready workplaces. We help organisations adapt, grow, and thrive in an ever-evolving world by building, shaping, and optimising diverse talent strategies.

Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) is one of our service offerings. Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.

Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 6 month contract based in London (2 days per week) with remote work available (hybrid).

    Purpose of the role:
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst and Project Lead to drive the seamless integration of a major enterprise wide screening initiative, ensuring FinCrime technology remains resilient, scalable, and ready for future regulatory demands.
In this role, you'll blend strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery leadership guiding complex technical workstreams, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring systems are fully prepared for a high profile launch.

    What you'll do:

Lead strategic engagement with programme partners to align on end‑to‑end test cycles, delivery timelines, and clear entry/exit criteria.
Deep dive into FinCrime technology stacks to master the nuances of PEP and Sanctions screening across multiple business propositions.
Translate high level strategic goals into actionable technical plans, ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned from design through to production.
Partner with Product Owners across FinCrime Onboarding and In‑Life workstreams to drive technical readiness, oversee remaining build activity, and coordinate participation in programme wide testing.
Design a comprehensive incident management framework for Name Screening, including a tailored playbook for both Onboarding and In‑Life operational requirements.
Reduce go‑live volatility by proactively identifying operational risks and implementing robust mitigation strategies ahead of the 2026 launch.
Provide agile analytical support for emerging high priority initiatives across the wider FinCrime mission, including new technical or regulatory requirements. The skills you'll need:

Domain knowledge of FinCrime technology, particularly PEP and Sanctions screening within modern digital banking environments.
Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Experience leading programmes or major workstreams, managing end‑to‑end delivery cycles, risks, and interdependencies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior leaders.
Hands‑on experience working with engineering teams to drive build phases and ensure system readiness for large scale integrations.
A structured, disciplined approach to change management and governance, ensuring milestones are met ahead of major launches.
Familiarity with incident management frameworks or operational readiness planning.
A background in digital onboarding, in‑life customer management, or financial crime prevention.Next steps
