The Opportunity A specialist SEN school in Sevenoaks is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school supports children and young people with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASC), communication difficulties, and associated learning needs.

The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
Assist with the delivery of tailored learning programmes
Encourage independence, communication, and social development
Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
Contribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environmentCandidate Profile We are looking for individuals who:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (particularly Autism)
Are patient, resilient, and adaptable in their approach
Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
