How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As Regional Business Development Lead, you’ll act as a true brand ambassador, building relationships, opening new business opportunities, and shaping the company’s commercial direction within your territory.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve revenue and growth objectives.

    *

Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities within Foodservice and HORECA sectors (including contract catering, hospitality, and regional distribution).

Manage and grow existing key accounts through strong relationship management and customer engagement.

    *

Deliver commercial presentations and proposals that communicate value and support long-term partnerships.

    *

Serve as a customer advocate internally—feeding insights and feedback into product and service development.

    *

Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and customer success teams to ensure account excellence.

    *

Forecast sales performance, manage budgets, and report on KPIs and growth targets.

    *

Contribute to the development of new product concepts and commercial initiatives aligned with client needs.

    Experience and Credentials

    *

Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within the Foodservice or HORECA sectors.

    *

Strong commercial acumen with a hunter mindset and track record of achieving ambitious targets.

    *

    Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.

    *

Experience managing complex customer relationships, from contract caterers to hospitality operators.

    *

Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.

    *

Strategic thinker with practical problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial flair.

    Personal Attributes

    *

Energetic, self-motivated, and customer-centric, with a track record of delivering results through collaboration.

    *

Empathetic, professional, and optimistic, demonstrating resilience in a fast-paced environment.

    *

Thrives in an ambitious, growing business and enjoys building something from the ground up.
