Site, Facilities, Infrastructure & GFA Assistant

Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Site, Facilities, Infrastructure & GFA Assistant to join their team in Portsmouth Naval Base on a contract basis. The successful applicant will support key infrastructure projects, ensuring operational efficiency and assisting with administrative tasks. This role is fully onsite, emphasising the importance of hands-on involvement in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the management of site facilities and infrastructure projects
Assisting with the coordination and administration of site activities
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress
Providing logistical support for site operations
Assisting in the preparation of reports and project updates
Conducting site inspections and addressing maintenance issues

Job Requirements:

Experience in project support within the defence or security sectors
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
Understanding of site facilities and infrastructure management
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in using project management and administrative software
Ability to adhere to safety and security protocols
