THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and driven Logistics Supervisor to join our team at our Charlton warehouse. Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics, you will take full ownership of our shipping operations, covering fine art editions, merchandise, and publishing, while managing our company courier and supporting wider global logistics activity.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in precision, and can bring calm authority to complex, deadline-driven shipping challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take full ownership of shipping for Editions, Merchandise, and Publishing — including quoting, planning, execution, and deadline management
- Manage the daily schedule and tasks of the Company Courier
- Oversee and coordinate local deliveries efficiently
- Provide customs guidance and registrar support as required
- Enforce safety compliance and quality standards across all shipping operations
- Indirectly manage Warehouse Technicians, providing day-to-day direction and support
- Support the Head of Logistics in coordinating company-wide global movements
- Serve as a key point of contact for shipping queries across the business
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team-lead role
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong working knowledge of global logistics, import/export, and customs procedures
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience in art logistics or handling of high-value goods
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Background in a fast-paced e-commerce or fulfilment environment
- Proven ability to manage tasks autonomously and prioritise under pressure
