We are currently looking to speak with experienced Health & Safety / Criminal Regulatory lawyers for a confidential interim opportunity with a leading City law firm.
The engagement is to provide senior support within a specialist regulatory disputes practice within a wider financial crime department, advising on complex and often high-profile matters involving serious incidents, investigations, and prosecutions.
The ideal lawyer will have experience across some or all of the following:
- Health & Safety investigations and prosecutions
- HSE, local authority, fire authority or Environment Agency matters
- Corporate manslaughter / serious workplace incidents
- Fire safety, building safety, construction or industrial incidents
- Coroners’ inquests
- Enforcement notices and appeals
- Criminal regulatory defence or prosecution work
- Advising corporate clients, directors or senior individuals under regulatory scrutiny
This is likely to suit a senior associate, legal director, consultant, counsel, or barrister who can operate with a high degree of autonomy and quickly provide meaningful support on live matters.
The client is open to considering full-time or fractional support, depending on experience and availability. The assignment is expected to run until approximately mid-November.
This would be a particularly good fit for someone with strong technical expertise in health & safety and/or criminal regulatory work who is available at short notice and open to a flexible interim engagement.
