How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant
    Location: Radford, Coventry CV6
    Pay Rate: £(Apply online only) per week
    Start Date: ASAP
    Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
    Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
    Contract: Monday - Friday, long-term temp to perm.

    Long Term Futures are looking for a caring and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Radford, Coventry. You will be joining a warm, inclusive, and supportive school community that is dedicated to ensuring every child is happy, confident, and able to achieve their full potential.
    This role is based within the school's specialist SEN provision, supporting a small class of 5 pupils ranging from EYFS to KS2. The provision is designed to support children with complex Autism, SEMH needs, and communication difficulties within a calm and structured environment.
    You will work closely as part of a supportive team alongside experienced Teaching Assistants and the SEN Teacher to provide tailored support for pupils. Support will be delivered through structured learning activities, sensory-based interventions, and communication

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    Experience working within a Primary or SEN school
    Confident supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
    Experience or understanding of ASD, SEMH, SLCN, or non-verbal communication
    Knowledge of sensory regulation and therapeutic support strategies
    Understanding of the EYFS framework and adapting learning across different age groups
    Holds a TA qualification or relevant degree
    Calm, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a supportive team About the School:
