How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Job Title: Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital
    Location: Hampshire
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 basic + good benefits package

Are you looking for a Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital in Hampshire?

My client is a very well-established, highly profitable company that designs and manufactures a range of electronic instrumentation products that are used all over the world.

They offer hybrid working and are very flexible with their R&D staff. So, it is possible to just come on-site, really as and when needed to use the lab, meetings etc.

Due to expansion, they are looking for a Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital to join the team. They are open to hiring someone at either a Senior or Principal level.

You will have a strong background in electronic design with a broad skill set covering analogue and digital design.

In this role of Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital, you will be designing electronics from scratch for brand-new products as well as supporting existing products.

Responsibilities and Technical Skills required in the Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital will include:

Extensive experience in designing analogue and digital circuits. In reality, the work will be predominantly digital, but a good foundation in analogue is still important. Their products mainly use ARM-core Micro’s.
Experience of working on design projects from concept to manufacture.
    Strong problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of EMC. The company is investing heavily in their products; for example, its next generation of products will heavily involve IoT technologies.

If you have any specific questions about this Senior/Principal Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital role, please contact David on (phone number removed). To apply email: (url removed)
