Social Media Strategist
For our Social Media Team we are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Strategist. In this role you will set out creative and media strategy and oversee the paid and organic performances of our social media content across various channels. Based on the right audience and creative, you constantly work on maximizing the impact of our campaigns and content on the brand ING as well as our Business priorities. You will work in close cooperation with various business squads, creative & media agencies and partners like Facebook and Google. You will report to a wide range of internal stakeholders. Your work is based on a long term vision, in which ING stays the best in class in Social Media Marketing.
You will work in one of our agile squad teams that work in sprints to deliver marketing communication campaigns, covering a variety of media channels including TV, Outdoor, Social Media and soforth. You, as a Social Media expert, will make sure that we maximize the effectiveness of our social media activities on both Brand and Business KPI’s. As consumer behavior is shifting towards mobile devices, we are looking for a creative strategist that has proven understanding of how to connect with our target audience using these new (communication) channels. In this role you are not only working on ING’s social media strategy, you will have the opportunity to shape our brand across any mobile touch-point.

The Center of Expertise Communications
The Center of Expertise (CoE) Communications is a cross-border organisation with over 150 people. The purpose of the CoE is to maximize the engagement of all stakeholders to become a true love brand. The Center of Expertise is organised in four Areas:
The Area Brand Experience, Advertising & Sponsoring
The Area covers all branding, advertising & sponsoring activities and strategy in Belgium and the Netherlands. The Area is headed by an Area Lead that is end-to-end responsible for Branding, Advertising & Sponsoring in both countries and reports to the overall CoE-Lead.
Within the Advertising area, the Social Media Strategist will report to the Expert Lead Social Media.
