You have minimum 7 years of experience with increased responsibility in accounting or finance related field in a large multicultural international organization. You have the ability to communicate confidently in English (both spoken and written) and have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or a related field. You are a professionally qualified accountant ACA/ACCA or local equivalent, have strong knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP and know how to plan and measure financial records in compliance with internal and external regulations. You demonstrate strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions and multi task. You know how to assess, analyse and mitigate risks in a business environment You are motivated by being part of a team, by working in close collaboration with colleagues and partners, giving support to others and be supported, sharing ideas and doing things together. The purpose of Ingka Centres is to drive visitation to IKEA by creating meeting places where people love to go to and come back, again and again. The Accounting and Internal Control Leader will secure and support overall Ingka Centres financial reporting that protects and adds value to our assets, securing profitable growth and financial independence. By providing Accounting & Internal Control services, you will support a strong compliance framework and effective governance to enable entrepreneurship and safeguard our people, customers and businesses. More specifically, this means you will: • Develop the accounting and internal control framework for Ingka Centres, in compliance and under the matrix leadership from the INGKA Group Accounting and Internal Control function (based on business, legal and harmonisation needs relevant for the Centres business model). • Develop cooperation with Country (RU/CN/other Ingka) organisation to minimise deviations from standard global frameworks for local business needs and compliance reasons and secures effective ways of working. • Follow up the implementation of global and local frameworks to secure quality and timeliness of accounting and reporting processes. • Plan and coordinate the accounting and internal control reviews to secure adherence to global and local frameworks. • Secure, together with relevant stakeholders, the expert knowledge on the relevant solutions [MS Dynamics] to support new releases, prepare and execute business acceptance tests, and collect business requirements. • Follow up on local Finance (Service level Agreements) SLAs to ensure simplicity and efficiency. • Contribute to the system maintenance related to the accounting database. • Participate in global projects and support local execution (as part of these projects) to simplify, harmonise and automate financial operations and reporting.
