Job agency Manpower is looking for a part-time collector on a temporary basis for a client at Schiphol-Rijk.

As a junior collector you will assist in obtaining updated financials and prepare and send out customer statements. Furthermore you can expect to perform the following tasks:
  • Analyzing accounts receivable to determine past-due accounts and making collection via phone and e-mail
  • Verifying customer portals for issues with invoices submitted electronically
  • Interacting with both internal and external customers
  • Enforcing credit and collection policies and procedures
  • Analyzing and reporting on credit memo and write off activity
  • Performing cash flow analysis and creating customer forecasts
  • Monitoring and working to resolve disputes on a timely basis

Job requirements

  • EQF level 6 or a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least two years’ experience as a financial administrator or something similar for example, sales support or back office employee
  • Excellent command of the English language (at least C1 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and (preferably) also a good command of the French language
  • At least intermediate skills in Excel or higher
  • Availability of at least 32 hours a week
Living in or near Amsterdam, Hoofddorp, Haarlem or Amstelveen is preferred, but not mandatory.

Working hours
In this function you’ll be working 40 hours a week during regular office hours. Working part time of 32 hours per week is also possible, but preferably you work fulltime on Monday and Tuesday.
