To contribute to their excellent service branch, SDP is deployed to look for a Support Engineer with an Electrical background. As a Technical Support Engineer you provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support from the office and advice to customers with regard to product lines in, for example, the electrical mobile market. In addition, you contribute to increasing the level of knowledge of clients and colleagues by providing advice, providing feedback on relevant information and providing training.
You work closely with fellow Tech Support Engineers, Product Owners, Product Developers and in some cases with Project Managers. The working environment is international.

A number of responsibilities and tasks for the Technical Support Engineer;
-Organizing activities for third parties with the end users of the employer.
- Writing technical bulletins for customers and colleagues of the organization.
- Answer technical questions both by telephone and by email.
-Testing and simulating problems with installed equipment at the customer. This is mainly on remote distance but can also be on location at the customer.
- Supporting colleagues such as other Technical Support Engineers, Product Owners, Product Developers and in some cases with Project Managers.
-In exceptional cases resolve malfunctions on location.
-Reporting desired product improvements and activities.
What is required in terms of experience;
-You have BSc. in Electrical Engineering or a related Technical education background.
-You are energetic, solution-oriented, flexible, curious and enjoy working together with others in a team.
-You have demonstrable affinity or experience with electrical engineering and / or systems.
-You have a good command of the English language. It would be great if you can speak or understand some Dutch as well.
-You have experience and enjoy working with various software.
-You are analytical and can understand questions well.
-You communicate fluently and you enjoy talking to customers with questions.
-You work accurately and can organize your work activities well.
-You are used to working with Windows and Microsoft Office.
