As the Responsive Business Supply and Inventory Planner you will own inventory planning and purchasing of the responsive products in your assigned Category. Drive the buy review process and ensure products are planned and purchased on the appropriate timelines. You will pro-actively escalate any issues that prevent the desired timelines from being met. You will also ensure that PO maintenance is executed in a timely manner and will partner with other GEO functions, Global Supply and Inventory Planning and Liaison Offices to drive on-time production and assist in optimizing the demand supply match result when issues arise
You will actively engage in building and maintaining a strong relationship with the Demand Planners for your category team(s) and pro-actively provide them with relevant supply related insights. Build and maintain constructive partnerships with NFS Planning, Liaison Offices, GlobalSupply and Inventory Planning to help drive quick resolution of inventory planning or PO and related SO maintenance issues. Where needed you will pursue issue resolution through the S&IP leadership team.
Your indepth knowledge of tools and available information will assist you in providing answers to queries quickly. You will stay informed on important key inputs and parameters that drive and influence the inventory planning and purchasing process and you will regularly report out to key stakeholders with relevant summarized insights on PIFOT, coverage and significant shifts in the supply picture. You will continue to develop your analytical skills and knowledge of available tools and information in order to help evolve the team's ability to improve effectiveness and equip key stakeholders with meaningful insights.
Who are you?
-You have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or related fields
-several years forecasting, buying, inventory planning, order management, supply chain or related experience
-Strong numerical skills, detail oriented, ability to work in a deadline driven environment
-Highly analytical with experience in problem solving and unraveling complex issues
-Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain concepts
-Proven written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work independently and constructively in a diverse group
-Ability to train and mentor others
-Advanced SAP and Excel skills, affinity with reporting and presentation tools preferred
-Experience in the Footwear or Apparel industry preferred
