For our client I am looking for a temporary (January - April) Assistant Underwriter due to a maternity leave. The Assistant Underwriter provides efficient and pro-active support to the Underwriters by collecting information to process the renewals. Furthermore the Assistant Underwriter will assist the Underwriters with their underwriting activities. The Assistant Underwriter reports to the Senior Underwriter and supports the commercial department (8+).
Our client is a specialist P&I and Marine Liabilities international insurance provider.
- Collecting information for the Underwriters in order to make renewals
- Collecting information with regard to loss records, outstanding premiums and customer history in order to support the Underwriters
- Coordinating the administrative process of renewals, new policies and cancellations
- Coordinating the administration of larger accounts
MANAGEMENT OF POLICY DETAILS
- Managing/controlling the underwriting agendas (important)
- Maintaining contact with customers, insurers and intermediaries with regard to current policies
- Providing administrative assistance with customer relationship management
- Ensuring that files are complete and correct
- Processing various changes
- Serving as internal advisor for the Support Desk and Claims Department on administrative matters
- Actively participating in knowledge-sharing
- Participating in company-wide projects
A salary between the 2500 till 3500 per month. This vacancy is a temporary job.
