We are looking for a self-motivated Marketing Analyst to join the growing team. The role is an exciting opportunity to grow within an exciting, fun and fast moving environment.
Working with various data sets to conduct analytical projects, typically from a database, digital/social, brand tracking and modelling analysis perspective. The role is mainly project based, which means the candidate will need to have experience of working across multiple projects and managing time constraints accordingly.
We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for extracting insights from data and adding business value. A strong background in producing insight to inform marketing communications and business decisions is key to this role. Youll need to be comfortable working at senior level but also happy with the hands on analysis. Have experience of segmentation, modelling, writing presentations and comfortable presenting to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Opportunities
Marketing analysis projects including segmentation and profiling,
Customer and transactional data manipulation, from a range of sources,
Social data insight and evaluation,
Merging data from multiple sources,
Generating campaign (email and DM) files,
Undertaking statistical analysis activities including for quantitative research,
Preparing presentations based on the outputs of research / analysis,
Developing analytic capabilities through the development of new analytical techniques relating to the changing marketing world e.g. changes in the digital environment,
Developing techniques and processes in line with demand from clients,
Analysis of quant survey results,
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within marketing analytics either within an agency environment or client side. A self-starter with proven experience of turning analysis into insight for planning marketing communications along with a deep data literacy is a must.
Leveraging customer level insight is fundamental to the role, and as such experience with analysis of demographic and transactional data and data planning at a customer level is essential.
Preferred Skills / Experience:
Experience client side or marketing insight led consultancy/ digital agency
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Experience managing projects to completion
Graduate with 2.i or equivalent preferably in a maths based discipline (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Economics etc.) or marketing
Business acumen & an entrepreneurial streak
Creative approach to both problem solving and communicating
Very strong English written skills
