This is the role
The Business Development Manager we are looking for will be responsible for the success of GRODAN Group’s Home Gardening market in Western Europe. In this role you will be responsible for realizing ambitious sales targets, portfolio management, channel management, product development and marketing planning. On strategy you will be responsible for long-term forecasting and implementation of the Home Gardening business plan. Primarily you will enlarge the Home Growing Business of GRODAN and identify, develop and create new business opportunities... As Business Development Manager Home Gardening you will be the linking pin between Supply Chain, Marketing and Development departments within GRODAN and take care of the internal processes needed for the fast growing Home Gardening business.

As a Business Development Manager you are a strategic thinker who’s also able to act on and implement the chosen strategy. You are a strong communicator who’s able to work in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment.












  • Masters degree in Marketing/Sales Management/Business Administration or equal knowledge gained through work experience;
  • Retail experience, preferably in the Home Gardening category/green category;
  • At least 5 -7 years of experience in business development;
  • Good knowledge of retail sales processes, strategic marketing and strong affinity with following market developments;
  • Understanding the key financial drivers of running a successful business;
  • Proven to be successful in start-up business;
  • Fluent in English and preferably in Dutch, both written and spoken;
  • International travelling will be required (25-40%)
