Reports to: Chapter Lead Growth
RoleWe are looking for a Senior Growth Manager & Studio Lead to own and accelerate the growth of our Music Studio, home to the Piano App, one of our fastest-growing and most ambitious products, unleashing musical skills for users worldwide. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and execution. You define the Studio Growth Strategy and lead a cross‑functional growth squad with specialists across ASO, CRM & loyalty, monetization, and growth design — while remaining deeply hands‑on yourself.
Within the Studio, you will work closely with fellow Studio Leads, the Product Manager, and Principal Developer to shape direction, move fast, and turn global growth opportunities into measurable, scalable outcomes.
You will operate with high autonomy, clear accountability, and the freedom to build, test, and scale what truly works.
Your Mission (first 6 months)- Build and execute GTM strategies to drive scalable growth
- Balance acquisition and profitability with a clear ROAS / CAC‑LTV focus
- Increase subscriber base, retention, and LTV
- Implement and scale lifecycle marketing (journeys, messaging frameworks, loyalty loops)
- Establish and lead a strong experimentation cadence across the full funnel with a dedicated Growth Squad
- Global acquisition growth
- Subscriber base growth
- Retention uplift and LTV improvement
- Healthy CAC / LTV ratios
- Clear, data‑backed decision‑making and prioritization
- Set the growth strategy: Define the Studio Growth & Product Marketing Strategy, grounded in a deep understanding of the Music Studio’s products, business model, and growth levers. Set clear priorities across acquisition, retention, monetization, and lifetime value — and translate them into an actionable roadmap.
- Own growth end‑to‑end: Take full ownership of growth outcomes, from strategy to execution and results. Ensure initiatives move from idea to impact and remain accountable for performance across the entire funnel.
- Lead by doing: Lead a cross‑functional growth squad while staying hands‑on. Design and run structured experiments with clear hypotheses and success criteria. Shape brand and messaging frameworks and push growth initiatives into production.
- Analyze & decide: Use data to make decisions. Dive deep into performance across campaigns, funnels, and lifecycle flows — scaling what works and stopping what doesn’t.
- Scale or learn: Winning experiments are rolled out globally. Losing ones still generate sharp insights that fuel the next iteration. Optimize for progress, not perfection.
- Take ownership naturally
- Prefer action over decks
- Comfortable deciding with incomplete information
- Lead teams without distancing yourself from execution
- Need heavy processes or fixed playbooks
- Avoid hands‑on work & experimentation
- Prefer managing outcomes rather than owning them
- Proven experience in mobile app growth marketing, with ownership across acquisition, retention, and monetization
- Clear ownership of end‑to‑end growth, from strategy to execution and results
- Data‑driven mindset, using metrics, experiments, and tooling to make decisions, not opinions
- Able to operate autonomously with senior‑level responsibility in high‑ownership environments
- Solid experience with subscription‑based revenue models and LTV/CAC optimization
- Comfortable working with Growth Tooling (e.g. CleverTap, Braze, Adapty, RevenueCat, or similar)
- Hands‑on experience with analytics & experimentation tools (e.g. Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience growing products for a younger, creator‑ or learner‑oriented audience
- Experience scaling products globally, especially in the US market
- Familiarity with cultural and behavioral differences in acquisition, engagement, and retention across regions
- The opportunity to build and scale a global music product with real impact
- Modern Growth Marketing tooling and full ownership
- Full‑time role based in the Netherlands in a hybrid working model for flexibility
- A competitive salary package with a salary range between €5100 - €6250 gross per month, excluding 8% holiday allowance paid out in May
- A comprehensive pension/retirement plan
- 28 paid vacation days to unwind and recharge
- Travel allowance and bicycle plan to ease your commute
- Access to training and development programs
- High‑quality hardware and gear, including an iPhone, MacBook, iPad & Airpods
- Diverse and international company culture
- Access to a multitude of virtual and real‑life events
- Provision of fresh fruits, snacks, beverages, and a daily lunch at the office
- Regular in‑office massages for some self‑care
€5100 - €6250 monthly
