Hey there and welcome to your new opportunity with us. Being an ESS Key Account Manager is an exciting task, since you are the superhero our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs; therefore, these are your most important tasks:
- Develop and manage ESS clients and projects in Benelux
- Collect the client’s requirements and communicate with technical and service teams
- Analyze our main competitor’s solution, price and market strategy, etc.
- Attend national and international fairs and congresses
- Provide periodic sales forecast, reports and market research
- Achieve yearly sales target and ensure local market share
- Complete all other works associated with sales
All right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background you should have to feel comfortable with this role. Keep in mind it’s all about electrical equipment, that’s the reason why it is essential for you to have:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent. Affinity to electrical engineering.
- Several years of working experience in technical sales, business development, project development or project management preferably in the solar or energy storage industry. Work experience from an inverter manufacturer would be a great benefit!
- Good knowledge of photovoltaics, inverters and BOS in combination with strong commercial sales background, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Dutch, English and French language skills are mandatory at least on C1 level. Chinese language skills are a plus.
- Very good knowledge of MS-Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on a regular basis (50%).
