The role

As Finance Business Partner, you will be a key enabler of our expansion into new European markets. You will combine strong financial expertise with cross‑functional collaboration skills to drive profitability, strengthen governance, and ensure scalable, efficient processes as we grow. This is a high‑impact role where you will not only support decision‑making with financial insights, but also help establish governance, processes, and systems that ensure smooth operations.

This is what you will do:

• Prepare the roll‑out for new markets, ensuring all financial and operational processes are in place from day one.
• Facilitate collaboration between HQ and Countries during product launches, campaigns, and new market rollouts.
• Conduct monthly reviews of vehicle pricing, product mix, and margin analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and maintain business cases and financial models to support strategic initiatives and market entry decisions.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and end‑of‑year processes. Revenue Controlling & Margin Management. Develop and monitor pricing and margin analysis processes.
• Drive achievement of vehicle gross margins in line with budget, ensuring effective discount allocation to maximize volume and net revenue.
• Establish clear governance structures. Document and standardize operational finance processes.
• Lead or support cross‑functional initiatives to improve processes, internal controls, and operations.
• Contribute to the rollout of system enhancements (ERP, pricing, invoicing, reporting), ensuring alignment between finance, business and IT.
• Set up and maintain project trackers, ensuring accountability, deadlines, and follow‑up on critical initiatives.
• Ensure accurate accounting treatment for revenue, discounts, and costs, aligning controlling and accounting perspectives.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• 2‑4 years prior experience in a Business Controller/Finance BP role, preferably in an automotive or scale‑up environment.
• Solid financial knowledge and expertise: a strong understanding of financial principles and metrics, including profitability analysis, return on sales, budgeting and financial statement analysis.
• Able to interpret complex financial data, able to identify trends and to drive informed decision‑making.
• Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent English Language skills. German or French proficiency is a nice‑to‑have, but not a must.
• Advanced in MS Excel and Powerpoint.
• Familiar with Power BI or other BI tools.
