As an education technician you ensure that care is provided in compliance with child development standards as outlined in applicable regulations.

Furthermore you:

• assist in planning and conducting an effective child development program;
• review and implement daily schedules and activity plans and brief lower graded
  employees;
• arrange room and play materials to accommodate the daily schedule;
• receive children from parents;
• interacts with children during programmed activities;
• attend to the physical needs of the children.

• You have one year of general experience or two years of education above high school level.
• You are able to communicate with children.
• You are skilled in working with babies and children.
• You have knowledge of childcare programs.
• You have excellent knowledge of the English (and Dutch) language.
• You have and will maintain the physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, walk, bend, stoop and stand on a routine basis. Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
• You have and will maintain health and freedom from communicable disease.
