As an Azure Data engineer for the NN Bank Mortgage Team, you will be part of our journey to further build out our new and sophisticated data warehouse using the latest tools & techniques.

Together with your team you help NN Bank to become a more data driven organization. A great challenge in a continuously changing environment. We have set up a new sophisticated mortgage data warehouse. The next step in our journey is to provide mortgage data in a generic NN Bank format to be used for formal reporting to our supervisors. We will be connecting even more data sources and setup a self-service environment for the colleagues of NN Bank mortgages helping us becoming that data driven organization.

You will be part of the DevOps team Mortgage Data Lake working closely together with functional application managers providing the necessary business insights. You will also work together with colleagues in het Data Engineer community in order to create a great learning environment

As an Azure Data Engineer you will work on the Mortgages data lake, where you will:

• Design and build Power BI Reports and Dashboards as needed. Determine the data needs, then retrieve, stage, and transform the data to enable the required advanced analytical insights and business intelligence solutions, using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
• You will also develop and maintain data storage and retrieval systems using Azure storage services such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database
• Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the data processing systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance, and ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations such as GDPR
• Able to talk with Stakeholders and challenge them with proper questions
• Organize training and knowledge sessions for users of the platform as needed
