Operations Specialist (Commercial Finance)

As an Operations Specialist, you will support the Operations departments within ING Commercial Finance in the operational processes and help them to continuously improve their processes.

You carry out quality checks at the various processes and output checks at work of the various Operations departments. You are also responsible for maintaining data quality. All this with the aim of providing the best service to our customers within the Operations department of ING Commercial Finance. 

As an Operations Specialist, you will work in the Circle ING Commercial Finance in Bunnik, the Netherlands. You will report to the Circle Lead ING Commercial Finance.

About the role

• Ensuring quality, continuous improvement of processes and risk management are essential. You play a key role in this. You randomly check the output of the various departments and record the findings. The main goal is to further improve the quality of collateral management and the quality of the underlying processes in the future . In addition, you have an important role in raising awareness among employees that quality is important.
• You facilitate the Operations departments and the organization in various ways. In this way, you facilitate the design of measuring instruments. And you help the employees and leads to get started with information themselves. You don't chew for this, but you support your colleagues and ensure that they are able to retrieve the right data and be a leader in fact-based working. There is a practical component to this (the how), but it is also about creating awareness among your colleagues.  
• You look for radical improvements in your work and you show courage. Because you are good at maintaining contact with the squads involved (including in the Tribes and other channels) and stakeholders, it is no problem for you to work with them on the implementation. You are really the right person to set up task forces and lead them.
• You are responsible for quickly resolving incidents, answering complex questions from Operational Services, Customer Loyalty Teams and Sales and answering complex questions from other corners of the organization. You do everything you can to always give the best answer to questions.
• In your position, it is very important that you are continuously focused on identifying areas for improvement in the operational processes and that you proactively take the required action. In addition, you continuously and enthusiastically challenge the various Operations departments and the leads to make improvements themselves and you are an ambassador of agile working in everything. If it is necessary to deliver on the customer promise, you will be involved in the operation yourself, for example in the event of peak loads or other incidents.
• And last but not least, you are an enthusiastic ambassador of the Orange Code. Not only do you subscribe to it, but you also actively propagate the code.

Als Operations Specialist ondersteun je de Operations afdelingen binnen ING Commercial Finance in de operationele processen en help je processen continu te verbeteren. Je voert kwaliteitscontroles uit bij de diverse processen en outputcontroles op het werk van de diverse Operations afdelingen. Ook ben je er verantwoordelijk voor dat de data quality op peil blijft. Dit alles met het doel om binnen de Operations afdeling van ING Commercial Finance de beste dienstverlening aan onze klanten te realiseren.  Als Operations Specialist werk je in de Circle ING Commercial Finance in Bunnik. Je rapporteert aan de Circle Lead ING Commercial Finance.

• Het waarborgen van de kwaliteit, het continu verbeteren van de processen en risicobeheersing zijn essentieel. Daarin speel jij een sleutelrol. Jij controleert de output van de diverse afdelingen steekproefsgewijs en je legt de bevindingen vast. Het belangrijkste doel is om de kwaliteit van het onderpand beheer en de kwaliteit van de onderliggende processen in de toekomst verder te verbeteren. Daarnaast heb je een belangrijke rol in het verhogen van het bewustzijn onder medewerkers dat kwaliteit belangrijk is.

• Jij faciliteert de Operations afdelingen en de organisatie op diverse manieren. Zo faciliteer je bij de inrichting van meetinstrumenten. En je helpt de medewerkers en leads om zelf met informatie aan de slag te gaan. Je kauwt daarbij niet voor, maar je ondersteunt je collega's en je zorgt zo dat zij zelf in staat zijn om de juiste data naar boven te halen en leading te zijn in het fact based werken. Hier zit een praktische component in (het hoe), maar het gaat ook om het creëren van awareness bij je collega's.  

• Je zoekt in je werk naar radicale verbeteringen en je toont lef. Omdat je goed bent in contact onderhouden met betrokken squads (o.a. In de Tribes en andere kanalen) en stakeholders, is het voor jou geen enkel probleem om samen met hen te werken aan de implementatie ervan. Voor het inrichten van taskforces en het leiden van deze taskforces ben je echt de aangewezen persoon.

• Je zorgt voor het snel oplossen van incidenten, de beantwoording van complexe vragen vanuit Operational Services, Customer Loyalty Teams en Sales en voor beantwoording van complexe vragen uit andere hoeken van de organisatie. Je doet er alles aan om altijd het beste antwoord op vragen te geven.

• In je functie is het erg belangrijk dat je doorlopend gericht bent op het signaleren van verbeterpunten in de operationele processen en dat je hierop proactief de vereiste actie onderneemt. Daarbij daag je de diverse Operations afdelingen en de leads continu en op enthousiaste wijze uit om zelf ook tot verbeteringen te komen en je bent in alles een ambassadeur van het agile werken. Als het nodig is om de klantbelofte waar te maken draai je zelf mee in de operatie, bijvoorbeeld bij piekbelasting of bij andere incidenten.

• En last but not least ben je een enthousiaste ambassadeur van de Orange Code. Niet alleen onderschrijf je deze, maar je draagt de code ook actief uit.
