About New Horizons

New Horizons operates within Rabobank's Strategy and Innovation department, focusing on empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through financial lending solutions. Our mission is to simplify loan applications, making them fast, easy, and hassle-free. These solutions are not only integrated into our own customer journeys but also embedded within our partners' platforms. We operate in an agile, flexible environment, dedicated to realizing our ambitious goals.

Key Technical Focus Areas

We are committed to addressing various technical challenges to achieve our goals, including:

• Enhancing application scalability.
• Developing widgets and APIs for seamless integration into partner channels.
• Implementing features to streamline SME journeys and increase conversion rates.
• Automating manual back-office processes.

Team Dynamics

You'll join a diverse team comprising product managers, UX designers, front-end and back-end developers, and business analysts. We foster an informal atmosphere where team members take ownership of deliverables and collaborate closely to ensure the success of our projects.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• 3+ years of experience working with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience in event-driven environments using MongoDB, AWS Kafka, and Data Lake.
• Familiarity with cloud-native AWS.
• Experience with process and data-driven journeys.
