Machine operator | 2 Shifts

As a machine operator you will work for an organization that specializes in packing and repacking various types of fresh fruit and vegetables. The fruit and vegetables come from both the Netherlands and the rest of the world and are mainly exported abroad. They stand for quality and flexibility. As a machine operator you are responsible for setting up, operating and adjusting the machines. You also solve malfunctions independently and manage your production employees. As a machine operator your tasks consist of:

• Taking care of all the work around the machines;
• Timely signaling if the planning is not achieved;
• Achieving the targets;
• Ensuring quality assurance;
• Ensuring that all Production Employees follow the guidelines of IFS;
• Ensuring the correct settings of the machines to ensure that the production process runs optimally according to the specifications;
• Ensuring the correct recording of packaged products, product traceability/recognition and confirmation;
• Providing the machines with the correct packaging material;
• Checking the output;
• Watching out for product failure;
• Coaching and guiding production employees;
• Constantly working efficiently;
• Thinking in solutions;

To work here as a machine operator, we are looking for:

• MBO thinking level;
• Affinity and or knowledge of fruit and vegetable products;
• Technical insight;
• Quality and result-oriented;
• Hands on mentality;
• Knowledge of HACCP Principles;
• Command of the English language;
• You are flexible, working in 2 shifts and overtime is no problem;

We offer:

• A nice starting salary of €13.88 per hour;
• A 38 hour working week in 2 shifts;
• From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM 25% shift allowance;
• Overtime allowance of 35%;
• Weekly payment;
• Travel allowance;
