Job Description

Purpose of the position:

Selecting IT strategies, tools, and programs that enable the achievement of the set organizational objectives.

Placement in the organization:

• Reports to the Managing Director
• Leads the IT team

Roles and responsibilities

:

• Responsible for managing the (multi-year) ICT investment budget
• Accountable for the successful realization of all ICT-related projects:
  • Ensuring the IT project portfolio and the IT service organization, including attention to:
    • Change requests within the project structure
    • Risks and impact
• Plans and oversees the necessary resources, both internal and external, for successful delivery
• Ensures the development of the demand organization and a clear/achievable demand request
• Oversees all ICT-related needs of all related laboratories of Clinical Diagnostics
• Manages IT suppliers, partners, and consultants
• Works with requirements, scopes, timelines, deadlines, and budgets. Considers cost-effectiveness
• Leads IT staff and IT interns
• Focuses on encouraging the sense of responsibility among employees
• Motivates employees and provides targeted feedback to improve (team) performance
• Conducts evaluation conversations with employees under the responsibility of the role
• Responsible for keeping all relevant department documents up to date
• Contributes to good communication and team atmosphere
• Responsible for keeping abreast of (updating) professional knowledge and advising the General Director (BU) on new developments in IT
• Works in accordance with the relevant quality system based on NEN 7510, ISO 15189, and ISO 14001
• Occasionally involved in processing personal (health) information

Authorities

:

• Authorized to approve activities within the scope of the task
• Authorized to make decisions and initiate contacts within the established policy objectives
• Authorized to engage in discussions with third parties related to the task
• Authorized to adjust and approve department procedures for the quality system
• Authorized to act independently in case of emergencies related to the IT infrastructure

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Completed university education (WO) in the field of ICT, preferably with experience in healthcare
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of ISO 15189 and IEC62443 is an advantage
• Proficient in both spoken and written Dutch and English
