You as our Release Manager are working with DevOps teams that are responsible for collecting data with which the Rabobank will satisfy the financial related internal Rabobank reporting requirements and the external reporting requirements of the different regulators.
You and your job
That you can make a difference by gathering all deliverables from large amount of DevOps teams and coordinate on implementation of these deliverables with the stakeholders from other departments, both IT and Business.
You will also coach the teams and individuals in their Agile mindset (incremental deliveries) and the way of work so we can reach the maximum results for the Risk and Finance IT projects.
Together we want to challenge each other, learn from each other and have fun while making sure we can deliver high quality data warehouse software so we can report the exact figures to our reporting teams.

Owning the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases of all the tracks
Cooperating with Release Train Engineers from the tracks working on GRFD to manage and deploy releases in our Integration Test environment, User Acceptance Test environment and in Production
Promoting a culture of self-organising teams and making sure we work according to the Agile principles which results in an optimized worklow and an open, transparent and familiar working environment;
Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Environment deploys
Ensuring visibility and transparency of dates, milestones, and dependencies across product portfolio.
Listen and support teams in problem identification and decision-making around releases
Help manage risks and dependencies around releases and environments
Escalate and track impediments to PO / Delivery management
Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
Improve the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps
Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering
Helping out delivery management in defining, maintaining the KPI’s and making sure periodic reporting is in place

The department Risk & Finance Tech is one of five domains within Rabobank CITO. Risk & Finance Tech takes care of the development & maintenance for all Risk Management and Finance systems for the group. More than 1000 employees work within this department. Within this department the delivery cluster Data Distribution is building and operating the Group Risk and Finance Data Platform (GRFD) for the whole Rabobank Group including subsidiaries.
Data Distribution works together with the Oxygen program.
The Oxygen program is responsible for the change calendar for regular reporting deliverables. Oxygen needs timely input from data, calculators and reporting units to deliver in time to regulatory stakeholders
Oxygen is a multi-year program organized around four tracks: ALM reporting track, Finance reporting track, Credit Risk Reporting track and a Foundation track (IT4IT).
For GRFD we are currently searching for a very experienced Release Manager to guide DevOps teams with their deliverables and releases. You will do this together with the Release Train Engineers from the 4 tracks. They will act as your Single Point of Contact to the DevOps teams within the tracks .
You and your talent

3 years or more working experience as a Release Manager / Scrum Master / Business Consultant;
Bachelor or Masters degree;
Experience in the financial sector, the banking sector in particular;
Experience in the Finance and Risk domain is considered as a bonus;
Passion and enthusiasm for Agile and Scrum;
Knowledge of and experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle);
Experience in large and complex programs;
Being able to react in a flexible manner on changing environments;
Being able to communicate fluently in Dutch and English is required;
