In the role of HR Advisor Maritime, you will take care of all HR related matters concerning our fleet employees with different nationalities and payrolls. You will be working in a dedicated crewing team consisting of three other Personnel Officers, two Crewing officers and your manager. You will be responsible for a designated part of our Fleet. Our total fleet consists of more than 1600 fleet employees. In addition, you will lead or contribute to different HR related projects for both our national and international workforce, e.g. strategic workforce planning, remuneration round, training needs etc.Your responsibilities
You will recruit for both our national and international fleet workforce and liaise with either our subsidiaries or local and in-country manpower suppliers on all HR related issues. Furthermore, you:
Determine contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers;
Provide advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders on employee related issues, like disciplinary matters and performance issues;
Provide performance management guidance to ship management and plant manager;
Perform as case manager with respect to (long term) illness for national employees;
Identify development needs both on a collective and individual basis;
Analyse trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
You are a team player with a strong sense for both employee, management and corporate guidelines and procedures. You have excellent knowledge of the Dutch HR rules and regulations and you are willing to travel. In addition, you have:
A bachelor’s degree in HR Management or comparable;
At least 4 years’ experience as an HR professional in a large international organisation;
Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, like compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee & union relations, diversity & performance management;
Good command in spoken and written Dutch and English.
