• We are looking for a motivated candidate keen to participate in tracer development and evaluation
•You will work at the department of radiology and have access to all our research facilities.
• You will involve high end molecular imaging technologies in your research
• You will employ your knowledge to help our team with the development and evaluation of imaging tracers that can be applied during image-guided surgery. Depending on your background and interests there are different image-guided surgery projects that you can be embedded in.
Within our image-guided surgery research projects, we have a position for a research technician who has a strong biological background. A preference will be given to scientist with a background in molecular imaging (e.g., fluorescence confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, western blot, immunohistochemistry), but displaced scholars with other biomedical backgrounds are also welcome to apply! It is important to note this short-term position is specifically created for scientist colleagues that were forced to leave their home country.Wat vragen wij?
We are looking for an ambitious candidate with a MSc in biology or biomedical sciences and a proven track record in the field. You should also have a clear interest in molecular imaging. You should have (or be able to get) a Dutch work permit and are searching for a position to bridge the gap to your next job or return home. Since you will be working in a multinational team you should be able to communicate with you colleagues in English (verbal and in writing).
Depending on your background, you will be classified as physician-researcher. As a physician-researcher your salary will at minimum be € 2,497 and € 3,355,- at most (scale 7, CLA UMC). These figures are based on full-time employment.
The selection process will consist out of two rounds. The first round will consist out of an interview with the selection committee. In a possible second round interview you will get the opportunity to present your personal expertise and your vision on the to be conducted research.
