What will you do?
You will lead our infrastructure team and drive the further development of the infrastructure, including our journey to the public cloud (Microsoft Azure):
- Enterprise-wide responsible for Microsoft Azure platform, private infrastructure, office automation, telephony, videoconferencing, networking and technical security aspects;
- Improving the infrastructure architecture by tracking emerging technologies, evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements;
- Leading the IT infrastructure team, who is responsible for ensuring that continuity, performance, scalability and security of our IT environment are always at a high level;
- Managing, coaching and developing the team to ensure maximum engagement, job satisfaction and performance;
- Leading a multi-year program to implement clear, structural improvements to the IT infrastructure;
- Managing various global and regional projects including resource assignment, drafting project plans, managing stakeholders and project reporting;
- Selecting, managing and measuring the performance of IT suppliers and outsourced scope;
- Ensuring that the appropriate tools and controls are in place to monitor and manage production workloads.
What do you bring?
To be successful in this position you need to have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in IT, as well as relevant (professional or expert level) certifications;
- At least five years of experience working in relevant IT management roles in enterprise grade environments;
- Proven ability to structure a team with your excellent planning & organising skills;
- Proven proficiency in Scrum, Agile and/or Kanban;
- Proven ability to lead projects of all sizes and preferably relevant certifications (such as prince II, PMP, etc);
- Proven ability to implement and optimise processes and preferably have relevant certifications (such as ITIL, LSS, etc);
- Enough general understanding of the infrastructure domain (Public cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), Networking, voice, windows server, security solutions, etc.) to be able to connect with and lead engineers;
- Proven ability to manage vendors ;
- Excellent people & communication skills;
- You are a driven and creative problem solver;
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English & preferably in Dutch.
