New Business Application Specialist

As an Application Specialist you’ll be responsible for defining the application requirements for new business opportunities such as disinfection and healthcare, delivering application roadmaps and providing inputs for innovation projects. Being a thought leader in your application domain, you provide and present application guidelines for product documentation & training and you will support innovative lighting design solutions for first of a kind or complex projects, demonstrating the benefits to customers and markets

  Deliver application requirements (‘application story’) at start of an NPDL (New Product Development and Launch), VPC (Value Proposition Creation) and APC (Advanced Platform Creation) projects
  
• 
  Initiate, evaluate and validate target and realized photometric data through sample applications
  
• 
  Application product benchmarking by lighting performance comparisons and differentiators
  
• 
  Ensure application training materials & programs are available for commercial organizations
  
• 
  International application project support where key application expertise is required
  

• 
  Lighting application and design knowledge, experienced in usage of design tools/software (Relux, Dialux)
  
• 
  Experience in briefing teams on key requirements in a multi-stakeholder environment
  
• 
  Product, System and application know how for indoor
  
• 
  Strong communication, visualization capabilities
  
• 
  Open, curious, collaborative approach, comfortable with working through unknowns, explorative environments and come up with clear direction to exploit new business application opportunities
