The opportunity

The Central Team Business Banking provides expertise to not only solve complex business issues faced by our business partners, but also safeguard the strategy of Business Banking. The Central Team Business Banking consists of a small team reporting into the Lead Central Team. This new position requires understanding of the business context and Business Banking priorities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Along with the rest of the team members you are responsible for building data driven reports to keep track of the project portfolio of Business Banking. Based on data, you are able to proactively anticipate dependencies and foster collaboration across the entire organisation with the parties that need to contribute to a specific implementation. In this new role, you will be working closely together with your team members and you will get the chance to make impact. The working environment is fast paced and challenging.     Roles and responsibilities

    As the Business Consultant Central Team Business Banking you:

    • Set up reporting to ensure timely progress and alignment on all strategic projects in Business Banking

    • You tackle complex business challenges based on a good understanding of our strategy, organisation, Way of Working and IT architecture

    • Design and co-create methods and tooling to empower Tribe Leads/Sales Heads to prioritise and deliver on their purpose

    • Deliver advice which supports decision making by senior management and enables execution

    • Create alignment across tribes/the sales organisation on strategic themes

    • Strengthen the “Way of Working” while safeguarding the Orange Code as a role model

    • Supporting areas of vision & strategy incl. supporting of strategic programs

    • Supporting the regional sales teams.

    The ideal candidate

    • Has a strong focus on delivery through collaboration and the ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose

    • Is able to take responsibility, steer strategy and insights based on facts and data

    • Has the ability to display flexibility in his/her style to teams and adapt plans, approach and behaviour to the different needs and situations with stakeholders at all levels

    • Possesses strong organisational sensitivity and has the ability to understand and take into account the underlying issues, opportunities and dynamics of an organisation

    • Is capable of simplifying complexity and drive operational excellence

    • Is a naturally collaborative person who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals

    • Is resilient and is able to work under pressure and to navigate through ambiguity

    • Has the ability to ensure continuous improvement and act autonomously.

    Proven track record and technical skills:

    • Masters degree

    • 3-5 years’ professional experience in strategy/consultancy or project management in banking

    • Excellent data driven problem solving skills

    • Strong affinity with Agile way of working

    • Excellent level of English. Dutch language skills preferred.
