Senior Brand Narrative Manager, Jordan EMEA

As a Senior Brand Narrative Manager, Jordan EMEA, you will create the voice that expresses the heart and soul of the Jordan brand, products and services to inspire our consumer. You will lead and champion creative concepts and storytelling across EMEA aligned to the strategic direction provided by EMEA Consumer Construct & Brand Defining Marketing teams. We are looking for someone who can start latest February 1st. This is a fulltime position for 6 months with a possibility of extension.

 

What does the role involve?

You will lead complex workstreams independently and direct others in order to develop well-crafted narrative that expresses the heart and soul of the Jordan brand, leveraging athletes, products and services to inspire our consumer. You’ll work to drive and deliver end-to-end creative concepts across Product Launches, Brand Stories, Retail Executions, Local ATL and BTL Campaigns and Consumer Events working from strategy through concept and finishing with premium executions at all levels across all channels. This includes: Seasonal Stories/Products, Long Term Consumer/Brand Concepts, Consumer Construct Specifics, Purpose Stories, Sport/Cultural Moments, Social Media Content. This will also include designated teams supporting both Creative Operations and Production.

 

Juggling multiple projects at the same time, you’ll be required to maintain good communication and planning with clear focus on setting the team up for success. You’ll both lead your own workstreams whilst also empowering those around you to drive their own work independently.

 

You will need to communicate your concepts to various internal and external audiences. As a creative lead, you’ll be responsible to take on feedback from various stakeholders and drive the development of work to ensure that all work is delivered on time.

 

Working closely with the creative leadership team, you’ll be responsible for shaping the future voice and storyline of the brand across every consumer touchpoint. Fostering and leading innovative thinking, collaboration, and teamwork you'll also provide ideas that influence and drive best practices throughout our function and always thinking of the next click.

  • A minimum of 6 years creative experience in an editorial, content marketing, brand marketing or related creative field.
  • Proven experience leading photography and video/film productions; form pre-production, to on-set leadership and post-production.
  • Ability see stories and angles where others don’t.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team that is spread across several cities.
  • Proven origination of innovative storytelling across multiple categories.
  • Good experience in managing agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver the highest caliber work.
  • Great human and leadership skills that enable the team to grow. This includes a strong ability to listen and empower the team.
  • Good understanding of interactive communication, processes and user interface design for online products.
  • Good understanding of consumer behavior. You must have significant consumer knowledge in EMEA.
  • Ability to travel 20%.
