Medical Therapeutic Area Lead Neurology Benelux

In this exciting role as Medical Therapeutic Area Lead (MTAL) Neurology you are the medical leader for Neurology in the Benelux and you manage the Benelux Medical Affairs team. As such, you are the proactive strategic partner within the Cluster Value Team (CVT) for medical excellence, and you act as a bridge between the Benelux and the EMEA Medical Affairs organization.

The MTAL has people management responsibilities, leading Medical Advisors (MAs) and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs). The MTAL is expected to lead changes in organizational behaviors to successfully implement the medical affairs strategy and plan.

Must haves: to be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.

  • Scientific degree: Medical Doctor, pharmaceutical or biomedical degree or equivalent by experience
  • More than 4 years experience within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and business operations
  • Proven strong analytical, communication, influencing, decision-making and leadership skills for interaction with external and internal stakeholders
  • Conceptual skills: able to have an integral view across different disciplines within the medical domain for neuroscience
  • People management and team leadership skills: stimulate and empower to develop and execute medical excellence and medical leadership
  • Proficient in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
  • Deep knowledge of Neuroscience
