Marcom Manager Cardiology

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

be part of the Cluster Precision Diagnosis Content & Engagement team and work closely with Business Marketing to convert marketing communication strategies into integrated audience campaigns for new and existing target markets.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the campaigns including identifying partnerships, sourcing vendors, supporting product/solution launches, and maximizing ROI. Strong focus will be on the creation of marketing communications tools and assets.

In addition, you will organize the external communications activities and manage the external vendors to ensure completion of the project on schedule, within budget and according to the agreed upon objectives. This role is based in Europe.

You are responsible for

Marcom campaigns

  • Providing input for the yearly Marcom Plan based on the Cluster Marketing Plan, the Business Marketing Plan and the Engagement strategy, specifying required marcom strategies/campaigns, deliverables and projects and budget requirements for activation including timelines.

  • Supporting the Portfolio Marketing and Content & Engagement Strategy team to define requirements for claims and evidence to create effective omni-channel messaging, assets, and collaterals. You have also a good understanding of digital marketing communications including web, social media, SEA/SEO, etc.

  • Bringing the integrated campaigns to life with deliverables aligned with the CDJ (as defined by Engagement Strategy) and based on approved claims. This includes planning, messaging development, creative development, asset creation and supporting the activation in the markets.

  • Being the Brand Ambassador towards the marketing colleagues in Clusters and Businesses and collaborating with Brand and HS Marketing to strengthen the global brand.

  • Being a strategic communication advisor for the cluster in close alignment with businesses and markets.

Assets and marketing channels

  • Planning, creative briefing, execution, and presentation of assets to support omni-channel campaigns/programs, including (brand) reputation and awareness, demand generation, Account Based Marketing, and Installed Base engagement strategies in close collaboration with Content & Engagement Strategy Leaders.

  • Planning, creative briefing, execution, and presentation of assets to support product launches in close collaboration with the Category Leaders and Product Managers in the Businesses, including support of communications, PR, social and training needs in line with the cluster marketing plan.

  • Supporting selection and managing the relationships of the required agencies, agents and vendors, negotiating prices (with GPP support as needed) and optimal briefing and instruction for the MarCom strategy and guidelines for campaigns and projects, within the briefing.

You are a part of

A global marketing communication team (15 people) and you will be closely working with the Content & Engagement Director, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications and with the Brand, Communications and Digital marketing & E-Commerce team. You will report to team lead Marketing Communications Precision Diagnosis in Europe.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing communications. B2B experience is preferred

  • Digital savviness; experienced and knowledgeable about all current and new digital marketing communication channels and tools (email campaigns, websites, social media, CRM, analytics)

  • Experience with high-tech or medical device product launch to provide insight into effective communication mediums for industry-specific customer segments

  • Healthcare marketing & High-tech product launch experience is a plus

  • Experience with delivering several complex projects to meet demanding features, cost, quality and introduction date targets; manage budgets

  • Creative & conceptual skills: translate clinical value proposition and other Marketing content into an effective campaign; views successful campaign as one with a high ROI (result oriented)

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written): managing relationships and contracts with vendors, craft and refine uniform product messaging across a variety of media types

  • Team player: willingness to support product line managers’ goals and work cross-functionally and globally, identifying synergies between businesses and markets to drive efficiencies and consistency of messaging

  • Business fluency in English (written & verbal)

  • Available for at least 32 hours, work location: Netherlands/Europe
