B2B Channel Marketing Manager, Europe

Job summary
Ring is seeking a creative, organised and result-oriented B2B Channel Marketing Manager to support our business in Europe. The B2B Channel Marketing Manager will define, lead and execute our B2B marketing strategy in Europe.

The successful candidate will champion this role and work collaboratively with teams across the business. We're looking for someone who has a strong sense of ownership and is excited by the idea of acting both operationally (to tactically get things done) and strategically, creating long term, scalable plans.

This position requires more than just the ability to execute against existing and traditional programmes and will be responsible for the total life-cycle of strategic marketing initiatives. This will involve collaborating with stakeholders to identify new opportunities, developing strategies together with sales managers, designing and executing programmes, measurement, and evaluating impact against the agreed upon goals and objectives.

As an expert in the B2B environment, the right person will maintain high standards in all aspects of planning, execution and evaluation, to ensure all programmes are driven to completion.

Key job responsibilities
Marketing planning - setting the mid- and long-term direction for B2B marketing

Drive lead generation campaigns, working side by side with the business development and sales team to produce excellent content to attract new clients through B2B marketing channels

Work closely with the sales team to prioritise verticals and create effective joint marketing plans with key business partners

Create content marketing plans (whitepapers, webinars, emailing, etc.) and work with our in-house teams and external agencies to execute them

Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, and ongoing nurture campaigns

Identify the relevant trade shows and industry events, recommending the appropriate attendance tactics in order to maximise ROI, and attending events where needed

Build sales collaterals, such as sales brochures, vertical-specific presentations and sales sheets

Create, deliver, and report on commercially successful and creative mix-marketing campaigns

Analyse marketing activity, drive efficiencies and optimise campaigns

Report on KPIs and marketing performance

Drive best practice sharing across countries on an ongoing basis

Develop and manage trade marketing assets (e.g. digital and physical POS, content, offline marketing and sales collateral).

Support brand strategy to ensure that all marketing elements enhance and leverage the brand equity with all constituents

Collaborate on a regular basis with different departments within the organisation (such as product marketing, brand marketing, content, etc ) and multiple third party agencies.

On-board and manage external vendors including contracts, budget, and KPI set up

Work closely with other team members to ensure effective and efficient collaboration (processes, tools, assets, etc)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Multiple years of experience building and managing B2B marketing programmes, preferably in a multinational, complex organisation

Knowledge of Demand Generation tactics and Lead Conversion principles.

Sufficient experience successfully managing external vendors, such as suppliers and agencies

Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organisation, managing multiple priorities as an independent, driven self-starter within a rapidly evolving business

Proficiency in written and spoken English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Multiple years of experience within a demand generation/ lead generation marketing role – working on full and mix- marketing campaigns

Extensive experience developing marketing campaigns that deliver a targeted message and create affinity with brands

Ability to create value propositions that communicate clearly to targeted audiences

Online and offline marketing: experience with digital media, including SEM, display, social, email, and affiliate channels

Demonstrate strong leadership skills, promoting teamwork and collaboration, showing initiative, and acting independently to successfully manage all relations

Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate and influence stakeholders

Manage events, training and trade shows, owning the- end to end process with strong project management skills

Proficiency in an additional language such as German or Dutch a plus.
