Internship: Corporate Finance and Financial Risk Management (Suitable for Thesis)

Job Description

Start date: We do prefer students able to start as soon as possible, no later than Q2 2022

Duration: 6 months

We can support you with a thesis subject, if it will be in line with the daily projects. We are flexible to grand you 32 hours per week working on the project and 8 hours on your thesis.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Experience managing banking relationship from the perspective of a multinational corporation. Supporting the Treasury Front office team in streamlining bank relation management processes.

You are responsible for

  • Review the existing banking relationship network
  • Setting up the annual relationship review cycle with our banking relationship network
  • Clarifying and making visible the bank know your customer requirements
  • Designing and streamlining a standardized process for Philips to respond to bank requests
  • Ability to assist on other projects in the area of Corporate Finance and Financial Risk Management

You are a part of

The Treasury Front Office department is part of Group Treasury and is responsible for Corporate Finance and Financial Risk Management. The department consists out of 7 highly motivated international colleagues. In this role you will be reporting into the Head of Corporate Finance, Financial Risk Management & Treasury Front office.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Studying towards your University (WO) Master in Sciences degree in: Finance

• Knowledge of global capital markets, structures and participants and instruments traded on them

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong communication skills

• Fluent in English
