Job description

Your mission should you choose to accept it:

The Partnerships & Events Manager is the face of the TSH Amsterdam properties and the liaison for our local & European network of partners. Your role is to develop relationships with the city brands & events to generate brand and commercial partnership opportunities. By working with leaders of local and international future forward brands we engage the city’s tastemakers, movers and shakers and make them part of our community. Can you make our TSH Amsterdam properties a favourite city hotspot for events, lectures, exhibits, networking activities? We’re looking for someone that is the open door to something beautiful; a new friendship, a business collaboration and an unforgettable experience.


In case you don’t know who we are:

TSH Amsterdam is much more than a hotel: it’s a hub for co-living and co-working where travellers, locals and students get together to learn, stay, work and play in the vibrant capital city of The Netherlands. Our two hub’s in Amsterdam are both vibrant places for our communities to connect. In East we are located in the former newspaper district, were we’ve restored the Parool & Trouw buildings with coworking, event spaces, swimming pool, gym, restaurant and added close to 600 rooms. In the creative Amsterdam West, we have own one of the biggest hotels in Europe, close to 800 rooms. This location is built up with three separate buildings, with a beautiful courtyard that connects all our community members together. TSH is already open in Berlin, Vienna, Florence, Maastricht and 11 other exciting European cities. In the upcoming years we are opening more locations in Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon and other fabulous cities across Europe!



What will you be doing to make that happen:

  • Strategize and plan new and existing partnerships from ideation through execution
  • Source new potential partners, initiate contact and develop relationships
  • Lead the partnership development, including contract negotiation, networking etc.
  • Build brand awareness partnerships and (co-)create on- and offline experiences & events
  • Help build an internal culture of relationships with the community based on trust and value
  • Responsible for the roll out local and brand awareness activities & product activations
  • Develop (new) business opportunities
  • Host and engage a network of local TSH ambassadors so they can help you grow the network
  • Support on all aspects of event planning, from initial ideation and logistics to final execution
  • Set up diverse event and experience programs to attract the tastemakers of the city
Requirements

We’re calling all creative & open-minded creators to consider this position and lead the development of our Amsterdam community. From the club kids, community heroes & program managers up to the urban bloggers, vloggers and content creators, coming from all kinds of backgrounds; events, marketing, digital, branding & communications.


  • An outgoing and confident personality. You slay each and every presentation and you nail it in front of an audience
  • Professional & responsible enough to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic atmosphere
  • 3+ years work experience in events and/or partnership / business development and/or sales
  • An existing network in creative, digital and/or education industry in Amsterdam
  • Output driven, enjoy being part of a local and international team and never without a sense of humor
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a relevant field
  • Super communicative and a true networker
  • A great entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Well-organized with eye for detail.
  • Fluent English & Dutch (written and spoken), other languages a bonus
  • A Dutch or EU residence/work permit required
