Senior Consumer Marketing Manager Lumea IPL

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

You have the opportunity to drive the success of the growing IPL Lumea category, the #1 IPL brand globally, by bringing relevant consumer driven propositions and go-to-market strategies.

You are responsible for

  • Formulating the upstream product strategy for the assigned portfolio: High End IPL (Lumea S900 / Prestige household and corded),
  • Collecting and analyzing market information and defining key trends and needs for our target consumers
  • Formulating the specification of new products & services based on available technology, components and existing market situation in order to have new products / commercial innovation available on short term
  • Formulating the specification of new products & services based on latest consumer insights, trends and new technologies in order to drive and protect market leadership on mid term
  • Translating a general product plan into clear detailed product & service specifications for development on long terms.
  • Guiding the project team in the execution phase of product development
  • Supporting in the medical transformation of the IPL business E2E
  • Supporting and driving the Lumea app deployment and innovation roadmap
  • Driving the market introduction of the new products & solutions, defining all aspects of the marketing mix to make his/her portfolio successful (pricing, promotion, channel strategy, communication needs)
  • Managing the lifecycle management of its portfolio scope, with support of Junior manager Lumea IPL.

You are a part of

The Hair Removal and Skincare category team, as part of the Grooming & Beauty Business Unit within Philips Personal Health. The position is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University or Masters degree in engineering , business administration or marketing, with 6 to 8 years of working experience
  • Upstream background, has managed sizable innovation projects, preferably including digital / connected proposition development
  • Marketing communications background, has affinity with marketing claims, substantiation, legal reviews
  • Preferable a downstream background (including digital activation), worked in a market or has strong communication skills
  • Strong affinity with processes/procedures, medical marketing experience (with FDA, EU MDR) is a plus
  • Does not dislike work with systems/tools in a regulated environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Constructive challenging mindset towards peers, within project teams
  • Dares to go deep into the details, leading to creative new insights
  • Leading teams through change.
