In close collaboration with stakeholders in the markets and businesses you design and deliver effective opportunity to order management capabilities, ranging from opportunity, quotation, contract to order management, to the global Philips businesses and markets. You will create globally harmonized business processes as the basis for existing and new to be developed (IT) tools and ensure change management in the organization to move and adopt our people to a standard, new and more effective ways of working. Main focus will be on a key transformation program called NPI to Cash, which aims to deliver a new transactional backbone – from opportunity, quotation and contract to order and fulfilment management – that supports our current business as well as the transition from a product to a solutions business. You bring specific knowledge of contract management and indirect channel management.
Your success is the positive impact from enabling our organization to effectively convert leads and opportunities into quotations and contracts, and transact orders and agreements, both for direct sales channels and distributor networks. Leveraging your own experience and based on internal and external best practices and insights you help to enable our organization to effectively sell, transact and deliver new solutions that are a key element of the Philips growth strategy. Typical criteria for success are on time delivery, user adoption and on target performance. With this you will build and operate a strong network of business stakeholders, subject matter experts and peers.
You are responsible for
Manage and support the design, build and lead deployment of new capabilities (process, tool, people, data) for the Opportunity to Order domain covering opportunity management (CRM), configure-price-quote (CPQ), contract management and order management. You will start in the contract management domain.
Maintain, develop, and safeguard relevant processes and KPIs according to standard architecture as part of the Philips Excellence Process Framework (PEPF)
Interact and collaborate with stakeholders and peers in the markets, business and supporting functions like IT, Enterprise Information Management, Legal, Finance and Philips University to ensure capabilities are well designed, deployed and adopted in line with the business’s needs
Drive real change through standardization, implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of processes, solutions and best practices in our markets and businesses.
Initiate, challenge, support and lead improvement opportunities in the commercial domain.
Drive and manage capability performance in line with defined KPIs and business objectives
Build and operate a strong network of stakeholders, subject matter experts and peers in Markets, Businesses, and other functions
You are a part of
You will join a divers global Business Process Excellence team for the Opportunity to Order domain, where you will support the markets and businesses in different areas of commercial capability building, talent and competency development and performance management. More specifically you will be part of a one of the key End2End transformation programs called NPI to Cash. You will report to the Design Lead Opportunity to Order for Market to Order (M2O) and the NPI2C program.
The work location is Eindhoven, The Netherlands but we are open for applicants living elsewhere who are open to work in our Eindhoven office 2-3 days p/w.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of international experience in the Opportunity to Order domain covering opportunity management (CRM), configure-price-quote (CPQ), contract management (must) and order management
Experience with professional concepts like, Lean, Problem Solving, Daily Management
Hands-on experience with current IT platforms like CRM (eg Salesforce.com), Configure Price Quote and Contract Lifecycle Management (CPQ/CLM – eg Apttus) or SAP
Pragmatic business acumen, understanding the value of standard work and practical solutions
Strong communicator and stakeholdermanagement at different levels
Structured, organized and stress resilient and quick understanding skills with project management experience
Self-starter who takes initiative, values impact over effort and is motivated to drive performance
Willing to travel internationally up to 10% of the time
