The HR Operations division, that was part of the Ops domain, has recently come over to the HR domain. The solutions related teams have been incorporated within Global People Services (GPS).

The Application Support Officer is the expert in the field of SaaS application support of our HR products. As a member of the Application Support Chapter, it is your responsibility to provide a stable run and support on all SAAS applications within HR except from Workday. Being ‘in control’ is essential. For this vacancy, we specifically look for a candidate that will be dedicated to the Fieldglass application. Fieldglass is a SAP application that provides the industry's leading cloud technology for services procurement and external workforce management. It is a responsibility with impact, that you shape by resolving issues within your squad, chapter or in cooperation with the supplier. You are studious, and you are challenged by developing expertise on various applications in order to be able to exceed the expectations of your (internal) client.

Currently, some applications are being replaced and some added to continuously adapt to changing HR processes and IT landscape. Furthermore, the SaaS team is about to adopt the Agile way of working which is the standard within Rabobank. This way of working focusses on simplification and acceleration of digitalisation within the bank. We do so by working in tribes, area’s, chapters and squads.

The Application Support Officer is willing to learn and adapt to this new way of working and at the same time, makes sure the application support continues as planned. In addition, responsibilities of the Application Support Officer include:

  • Analysing and solving of disruption and incidents for various systems in order to guarantee business continuity
  • Managing processes and cooperating in maintaining and advancing the various systems
  • Involvement in implementation of high quality technical solutions’
  • Cooperating with your colleagues to ensure high end service and availability of HR systems
  • Being a professional and reliable partner for system- and process owners in the business.
  • Help to further build the chapter

As an Application Support Officer you become part of the team SaaS which is one of the teams within GPS.

GPS is responsible for implementing the standards for the global HR Solutions way-of-working and data management, working with HR teams worldwide. Standards that aim for a world-class, agile professional HR organisation that delivers business value through standardisation, automation, increased forecasting capabilities and proactive handling of services: high tech, high touch.

GPS is part of the HR domain. HR is the frontrunner in the field of the provision of SaaS applications to make sure we can optimally service our internal clients. Besides the diverse SaaS applications we support, the biggest cloud application is Workday, that we rolled out in 2019. Even though the focus of your role won’t be Workday, there are many interfaces between Workday and various SaaS applications.

With you

Quality orientation, result orientation and pro-activity are clearly essential competences / characteristics for the role of Application Support Officer. In addition, it's important that you recognise yourself in the points below:

  • Bachelor Degree with 4-7 years of experience
  • Experience with the support on SaaS applications (experience with Fieldglass and/or in a similar role would be beneficial)
  • IT and HR processes make you enthusiastic
  • Experience with agile way of working
  • You are a communicative person and you dispose a good command of English and Dutch
