As Logistics Specialist Inbound you look after Suitsupply's global transportation and specifically the incoming shipments and will become the super user for the systems that support this. You will make sure that all the shipments to our factories all over the world get their high-quality fabrics on time. And you will look after timely delivery to our warehouses once the products are finished, whether this is by sea or air. But you also look for the continuous journey to improve the process with support of existing and new systems. Basically, you are the person to bring Suitsupply and its partners to the next level! Your typical day includes:
Looking after all the shipments of fabrics to factories, from factories to warehouses and other shipments to ensure the best availability and on time delivery of fabrics and products.
Responsible for ensuring that our promises to your stakeholders are met, but also that our freight forwarders and 3PLs deliver against their Service Level Agreements.
You support in customs related activities and you will act as a back-up of your colleagues that look after North America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific.
Further development of information and workflow systems that support all our logistical movements. You will act as a superuser for the Inbound related systems.
Be the point of contact for our Merchandisers, Allocators, and external partners concerning inbound shipments.
Anticipation on unforeseen situation, and communicate this clearly to all parties impacted, including clear next steps and expectations.
Monitoring and updating our information systems continuously to ensure that the latest information is known and available for all parties.
This job might be for you if you have:
2-3 years of experience in a similar (intern) role and/or fashion industry.
Affinity with project management and implementation of new solutions.
A pro-active and flexible mindset and being able to work in a high-pressure environment.
Understanding of customs clearance and regulations.
Appreciation for our product and how we position ourselves in the market.
A Bachelor or Master degree, preferably related to Supply Chain.
You will be successful if:

You like working with IT and information systems. You believe in automation and simplification of processes.
You are flexible, able to multitask and have a no-nonsense mentality.
