As a product manager you are part of a digitally focused team where developers, data analysts, marketeers, technologists, project managers and consultants work together to shape new and existing digital propositions for KPMG or for their clients. This team drives the innovation and growth of scalable solutions for medium sized and large corporate clients of KPMG. At the same time, the team is responsible for digitizing and innovating KPMG itself. KPMG’s digital portfolio is at the heart of KPMG’s technology enabled propositions in the domains of cybersecurity, risk and regulatory, finance and assurance, etc.

You are responsible to maximize the value of products and help our advisory and assurance practices to become smarter, more effective, and more efficient. In your role you need to articulate the strategy of the product – to help the business do what is right for the product. You need to show case a customer centric approach to translate market, client and customer insights into working business models, roadmaps, positioning and pricing strategies.
In your role, you will exercise your strategic and planning skills, you will oversee the agile product development activities, the product marketing, and sales enablement activities. You are also aware of the governance around the products to protect the brand yet with a focus on improving the time to market. You are therefore an excellent communicator to lay down your vision for the product to all internal and external stakeholders. You have regular meetings with the business owner, investment boards on the progress of the product activities, the risks, and the financials. You report to the head of product to strategize on how to improve the product management activities.

You are a tech - business hybrid (you are familiar with terms like Node.js, micro-services and low-code, etc.), and you also know how to defend a business case
Bachelor's degree or Master’s, in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in Product Management or as a Product Owner role in a multi-project organization
Fluent in English and preferably Dutch, with strong communication skills
A pro-active nature and an overall high-level of creativity with a problem-solving mentality
Experience with relevant methods and frameworks, such as Agile, Lean Startup, etc.
You are entrepreneurial with a good hands-on mentality and great analytic skills
