Business Marketing Manager Peripheral Treatment

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

contribute to improve the life of patients suffering from peripheral arterial and venous disease. Safe, cost-effective and life-changing treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) can be achieved using advanced imaging modalities (as intravascular ultrasound) in combination with state-of-the-art atherectomy, crossing, scoring, dissection healing, and drug delivery devices. Philips is dedicated to helping identify and treat peripheral arterial disease by providing expert tools, training and support that help improve lives of patients with claudication and save limbs for patients with critical limb ischemia (CLI).

At Philips IGT Devices we are working on industry leading solutions helping clinicians on deciding, guiding, treating and confirming the right therapy for each patient in real-time.

Are you an experienced business marketing professional with relevant experience in peripheral devices, coronary devices or other related medical equipment industry looking for the next challenge? If the answer is “yes”, Philips might have the opportunity you are looking for!

You are responsible for

  • Identifying and mapping opportunities for our value propositions to develop further.

  • Assessing market size and market opportunities, gaining data insights form internal and external sources.

  • Supporting the markets with marketing activities, relevant for their needs, to grow the business long, and short term.

  • Support the development of a network of physicians performing peripheral interventions.

  • Collaborate with Clinical to stay on top off publications and to translate them into meaningful messages for the sales teams.

  • Connect between markets and global product managers for exchanging market and product information and preparation of product introduction material.

  • Gathering information concerning product strategy, making SWOT analysis.

  • Developing presentation material.

  • Developing regional marketing plans and involvement in geographical expansion activities.

  • Participating in the market introduction.

  • Participating in international trade shows and congresses.

  • Serving as a knowledge bridge between markets, business unit, and internal stakeholders.

You are a part of

Philips IGT Devices, a Philips business, is a global leader in physiology and intravascular imaging for coronary and peripheral applications. The business also offers a suite of peripheral therapeutic devices. This is part of Philip’s industry leading solutions to help clinicians to decide, guide, treat and confirm the right therapy for each patient in real-time during image-guided therapies (IGT).

The Center of Excellence International for IGTD is located in Zaventem, Belgium.

As Business Market Manager IGT Vascular, you will report into the Head of Marketing, IGT Vascular International.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a marketing or a commercial role;

  • A proven track record in product management in peripheral interventions or related medical fields;

  • Ability to synthesize market analyses and customer feedback into appropriate Field Marketing programs;

  • Strong drive and experience in value proposition creation;

  • Strong communication and influencing skills;

  • Ability to deal with demanding stakeholders and proven ability to lead and inspire an organization;

  • Skilled at driving customer results by utilizing program/project management abilities;

  • Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage;

  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of your time (national and international travel).
