Being an M&A intern, you’ll be responsible to support our inorganic growth propositions that the M&A team is working on. This comprises support from deal origination, initial phase of the engagement, to due diligence and support to negotiations and post-closing activities. You will support experienced M&A managers in a variety of manners and will also play a role in improving our processes and documents together with Signify’s experienced staff.

Be at the heart of deal execution contributing to the inorganic development of Signify
Analyze the strategic fit of potential targets
Perform valuation analysis (DCF, multiples, etc.)
Engage, learn from and collaborate with most business functions
Ponder deal tactics (buying and selling)
Perform and evaluate due diligence
Carry out project management
Craft presentations for the Board of Management
You’re a proactive learner and a good communicator, and have of course excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). We expect you to be able to deliver a difficult message in a clear way, and having affinity with numbers is a second nature to you
Of course, you are not afraid of working under pressure and delivering results in a short period of time
Self-aware, good listener, reflective and solution oriented, as well as collaborative and a team player
Master student in a relevant field or MBA
Available preferably full-time for 6 months (combination with writing a thesis can be discussed)
