Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develops business opportunities and drives creation of solutions from idea to market. The Senior Clinical Portfolio Manager is accountable for developing business opportunities, defining, building and launching profitable clinical solutions. He/she works directly with R&D and other marketing functions to ensure the products/solutions are developed to the feature and price specifications that each target market segment demands. The Senior Product Manager is required to have deep expertise in market segmentation, product strategy, competitive strategy, and product development.

You are responsible for

  • In collaboration with market intelligence, understand localized clinical trends, reimbursement trends, demographic trends in key markets and develop customer needs-based segmentation for the given clinical portfolio

  • In collaboration with Clinical Excellence and R&D, develop and own the clinical portfolio roadmap. Own portfolio strategy and prioritization. Conduct advisory boards, focus groups to define and support the 3-5 clinical roadmap, as an input to the strategic review process.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop integrated offerings that meet the needs of priority customer segments, tailored by market

  • Develop and own the thought leader (KOL) plan. Develop a publication plan with clinical excellence to support NPI launches. Develop a network of users and speakers to support NPI launches

  • Develop and own business requirements, define the clinical evidence roadmap and deliver go to market plan for new product introductions

  • Develop a post-market expansion strategy for existing clinical products, supported by key research projects focusing on key clinical benefits, to drive market adoption

  • Work with Field Marketing to develop a sales readiness plan in preparation for product launch and enable the market sales teams Conduct customer executive presentations for key strategicaccounts, coordinated as part of sales campaigns with priority customers

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Familiarity with MR technologies that currently dominate the Senior Product Manager’s markets, and with the emerging MR technologies that will serve them in the future

  • Fluent in software product development, including e.g. claim generation, requirement specifications, and regulatory processes.

  • Boldness to create/shape markets whenever possible, exploiting Philips technologies, market positions and brand

  • Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback and existing and new products into solutions; comfortable with making tradeoffs, decisively

  • Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality and introduction date targets

  • Demonstrable communication skills and ability to lead an organization to develop market leading products/solutions. Ability to relate and communicate with different levels and functions in the organization

  • Advanced degree in science, engineering, business or a related field

  • At least 4-6 years experience in healthcare (preferably imaging)

  • Experience strongly desired in: clinical domain (preferably radiology), high-tech and product development domains (preferably imaging)

  • 4-6 year experience in Marketing, or related field

  • Evidence of strong analytical skills and people relationship as well as communication skills and ability to influence colleagues
