Customer Program Manager

Responsibilities

The SMB Customer Programs Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a customer acquisition strategy at scale, identify growth opportunities, and own and drive integrated cross engine planning and execution of prioritized sales plays/GTM with emphasis on Surface commercial hardware and Security Solutions for SMB segment. This role will demonstrate a customer obsessed mindset, advocating for SMB customers in the United States Subsidiary and will leverage local SMB market insights to deliver relevant and compelling customer value propositions that resonate with the needs of SMBs resulting in long-term value/success.


Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Accelerate acquisition of Surface commercial hardware
  • Exceed revenue targets for Surface commercial hardware
  • Develop and drive the SMB Security Sales and Go To Market Strategy
  • Execute sales initiatives across the SMB sales engines to drive Surface commercial hardware and Security Solutions
  • Develop local SMB market insights to deliver relevant and compelling customer value propositions that resonate with the needs of SMBs resulting in long-term value/success
  • Contribute and support the development of MSUS SMB market voice leadership for Surface commercial hardware and SMB Security Solutions (narrative, influencers, customer testimonials, etc.)

Key outcomes / measures of success include:

  • SMB Surface Commercial Customer Adds- SMB Surface Commercial Billed Revenue
  • SMB Security Solutions Customer Adds
  • SMB Surface commercial and Security net satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have proven track record in sales and marketing related roles
  • Deep understanding of the Small, Medium business segment and partner/reseller space
  • Relevant experience in developing customer insights, a track record of business strategy, program management and sales execution
  • Ability to effectively drive cross-group collaboration, using project management, impact and influence, as well as communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, but creative in problem solving and entrepreneurial in approach.
  • Effective at managing and thriving in ambiguous situations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Masters degree desired
  • Knowledge and understanding of Security Solutions and competitive cloud services desired
