Digital Sales Specialist

The Digital Support Sales organization is an organization with a charter to accelerate Microsoft’s growth in its cloud-first, mobile-first businesses along with the traditional businesses. This organization is at the forefront of establishing a new sales model leveraging modern technology, big data and analytics to drive impactful and targeted sales coverage.

As a member of the Digital Support Sales team, you will be working with a team of talented people to provide and sell Microsoft's best-in-class support offerings to our Enterprise customers, contributing to build the momentum for digital transformation for our customers and partners as well as Microsoft itself. In addition, the Digital Support Specialist for Enterprise will coach and guide a virtual team and drive new business via white space and annuity sales motions. The Digital Support Specialist will work closely with both the Enterprise Sales Teams and the Digital Sales units.

The Digital Support Sales Specialist provides expertise to drive sales and growth motions with key accountabilities including:

  • Strategy for identifying, driving, and closing Enterprise Support opportunities to enable customer outcomes and success - leveraging the centralised enterprise sales team, the digital sales unit and the Enterprise teams.
  • Closing deals through effective deal team orchestration - owning Microsoft Support sales opportunities end to end, leveraging appropriate account & pre-sales roles to bring the best resources to ensure customer satisfaction & deal success.
  • Meeting or exceeding revenue targets, maintaining sales hygiene & deal excellence - executing discipline in lead management, opportunity qualification, close planning, pipeline hygiene, forecasting & deal commitment.
  • Leading and coaching a team of vendors – providing guidance, direction, sales oversight and rigour for operational excellence in partnership with the vendor’s employer.

Maintaining a broader perspective to identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the business; engaging and influencing Business Decision Makers and Technical Decision Makers by successfully creating a case for customer change; translating value propositions and solutions into customer business outcomes.
  • Deal Orchestrator: Skilled in orchestrating a v-team to ensure success; working in partnership across multiple v-teams.
  • Sales execution: Skilled in leveraging technical and industry expertise, partners, and resources; exploring business and emerging opportunities; meeting sales targets and operational standards; interacting with internal & external stakeholders; showcasing business value to customer outcomes.
  • Leadership: Skilled in coaching people and/or teams to build their customer networks and growing their territories; driving the implementation of strategies and the collaboration with various stakeholder teams; delivering results through teamwork.
